Planning estimates only
Calculator results are preliminary estimates based solely on the values and assumptions entered. They are not engineering, architectural, structural, code, legal, safety, financial, or purchasing advice and are not a substitute for approved plans, product instructions, supplier takeoffs, permits, inspections, or qualified professional judgment.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for verifying measurements, units, product specifications, coverage, density, waste, site conditions, availability, prices, taxes, delivery, minimum orders, local codes, utility locations, permits, and final quantities before acting on a result. Do not use BuildPlanCalc as the sole basis for a safety-critical or regulated decision.
No warranty
The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Calculators can contain errors, and products, standards, prices, and requirements can change.

Links to agencies, standards organizations, trade groups, manufacturers, and other resources are supplied for context. BuildPlanCalc does not control those websites, and a citation does not imply endorsement in either direction. The current instructions and requirements for the selected product and jurisdiction take priority.
Acceptable use
You may use the calculators for lawful personal or business planning. You may not interfere with the site, bypass security controls, misrepresent results as professional approval, copy substantial portions of the site for republication, or use automated access in a way that degrades service for others.
