Advertising policy

Current advertising status

BuildPlanCalc does not currently display third-party advertisements or sponsored calculator recommendations. This policy describes the standards that will apply if Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled.

Editorial independence

Advertisers will not control calculator formulas, default assumptions, results, review dates, source selection, rankings, or correction decisions. Payment will not make a product, supplier, or service appear in a calculated recommendation.

Sponsored material, if ever published, will be clearly labeled and distinguished from independent calculator guidance.

Ad placement

Advertisements will be visually distinguishable from navigation, form controls, Calculate buttons, and results. Ads will not be positioned to encourage accidental clicks, disguise themselves as calculator actions, obstruct content, or prevent users from completing a calculation.

The amount and placement of advertising will be reviewed against page usability, mobile layouts, accessibility, and Google publisher policies.

Privacy and ad choices

Advertising technology can use cookies or similar identifiers for delivery, frequency controls, measurement, fraud prevention, and—where allowed—personalization. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain these practices and visitor controls.

When regional rules require consent, BuildPlanCalc will use the appropriate consent mechanism before enabling applicable advertising storage or personalized ads.

Questions or problematic ads

To report a misleading, inappropriate, obstructive, or technically broken advertisement, capture the page URL and—if safe—a screenshot, then contact BuildPlanCalc. Do not click a suspicious advertisement merely to identify it.
